In 2020, when this tradition began, I wanted to embrace my birthday in a way I had never dared. I put up my tree and listened to my favorite holiday albums. It sparked a rebellious sort of joy I cannot deny. Doing this reminds me to enjoy the little things that bring me happiness, even if it means doing it in the wrong season.
This year, I have split my favorite Christmas in July birthday activities into three distinct events. Please know there is no expectation for you to be at each event. I hope to see you at some point this holiday season.
