RPA Pride

Art Direction // Campaign // Set Design
Puppets have a way of breaking complicated subjects down into their simplest form for us all. So, what better way to break down pronouns for ad industry folk than through some puppet magic, using their most effective and delightful form of communication: song.

THE SONG

Written, recorded, directed, and puppeteered by RPA Associates, this social-focused musical is aimed at helping people be better allies. The RPA Pride Puppets join forces (and harmony) to sing about the importance of using pronouns, promoting allyship, and celebrating overall acceptance of everyone in the workplace. So, however you identify, get ready to sit back and sing along to a show the soon-to-be all-accepting world won’t be soon-to-forget!

THE CAST

These are the concept sketches for our characters. Our main character, Indigo was designed as a full sized puppet with a series of background pride pals designed as sock puppets. Each took on their own personalities, complete with pronouns and romantic preferences celebrating in song with Indigo
